Sports have always played a significant role in my life, shaping my core values and driving my passion for athletics. Over 20 years ago, I co-founded a youth sports ministry called Stewards of the Game. For 12 years, I directed its basketball operations, and from 2008 to 2012, I served as the volunteer Athletic Director and Head Basketball Coach at the Community School of Davidson in Davidson, NC.

I find great fulfillment in attending the Life Applications Sunday school class at Davidson United Methodist Church and participating in small study groups. These experiences have inspired my spiritual writing, including my three devotional books. Professionally, I’ve been in the investment business since 1983. I’m happily married to Mary Lynn since 1986, and we have three children: Sean, Marlee, and Brennan.
